2016 Fashion Show

On December 1st 2016, the Annual Transition Year Fashion Show was held in the school gym. The theme was 'All Things Irish'.

Preparation began in mid-October when the Fashion Show committee members were chosen. Work began right away with meetings with Ms.Hunt, Ms.Flanagan, and the two chairpersons Adam Butler and Niamh McMahon.

In the weeks before the show, deportment was held with Ms.Hunt. She taught everyone the proper way to hold themselves and walk on the runway. This took a lot of time and effort on both parts, it was held every lunchtime.

Everyone had to make an 'All Things Irish' costume. Everyone's creative abilities were showcased with costumes ranging from Father Ted to Nash's Red Lemonade.

There were two shows, a matinee in the afternoon for 1st and 2nd years and the evening show for friends and family.

A very special guest joined us for the evening show, Paul Galvin. He spoke to the audience about his clothing line with Dunnes Stores.

It was a very successful show, everyone enjoyed themselves and as students, the reward for participating was priceless.
