L.E.A.F

     L.E.A.F, or leading environmental awareness further, is an initiative created this year by members of the TY environment class. They are in the process of making a nature pathway on the school grounds where students can walk.

    

    The members of L.E.A.F are: Vilte Dubickaite, Jason Curran, Raul Venczel, Oisin Percival, Megan McCarthy and Brian Votta. They are trying to raise publicity for the pathway and have set up an Instagram and Twitter account, @leaf_ty2017 .

   

    They are currently running a competition, their first 25 followers can name a frog. A group of frogs were discovered in the pond by the pathway recently. Some of the frogs have been named already.        1. Fraggle (Ms. D. Buckley)

  5. Rupert (Ms. Flanagan)

    Other names given by students, include: Fredrick, Leaf, Gerald, Aussie, Herbert, Darth Vader, Todd, Alucard, E.T,, Napolean Bonaparte, Maj, Ellen and Jaffa.
